Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar College Bramhapuri (D.Pharma) Bramhapuri run by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Education Society, Chandrapur (Bramhapuri) is one of the Vidarbha’s premier Institutions. Greatly inspired by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s thought and ideology, Bar. Rajabhau Khobragade, the Ex deputy Chairman of RajyaSabha and Shri Marotraoji Kamble, the noted social worker started the Institution for providing higher education to the socially and educationally deprived classes of the society. Under the noble guidance of Hon’ble Secretary Dr. Devesh Kamble, the Institution has made tremendous progress and reached its presents status.
The college provides various facilities and support services to the students such as Girls Hostel, Boys Hostel, well-furnished Library with Internet facility and reading room, Language Lab., Computer Lab, Science Labs, Network Resource Center, Seminar Hall, Audio- Visiual Hall, ICT Class rooms Indoor Sports Facility Building, Gymnasium, Play Ground, etc.

Brahmapuri town is located in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra. It is 128 Kms from Chandrapur, 100 Kms from Gondia and about 120 Km from Nagpur on Nagpur-Gadchiroli Highway No. 269. Brahmapuri is famous for its education, medical facilities and eco-friendly atmosphere. Most of the adjoining areas around Bramhapuri is backward in education and belongs to economically weaker section.

The vision of the Institution is to provide quality Higher Education to the Socially and Economically disadvantaged students of backward classes belonging to the rural areas through dissemination of knowledge in the field of Pharmacy and make their all around personality development
